Welcome to Princeton Meadow Church (PMC)

At Princeton Meadow Church, we understand that life is coming at you all the time. There's never enough time for everything. Work is stressful. Family life isn't always what you want it to be. Relationships can be strained, not to mention downright painful. And have you heard the news lately? We live in a broken world where the good, the bad, and the ugly all mix together.
Is there more to life than this?

Yes. We believe that Jesus Christ came to this world to bring new life.

Forgiveness since we've all messed up.
Restored relationships.
Comfort to those who are hurting.
Hope to those who are desperate.
Love for the unloveable.

God doesn't just take away our messes, but promises to be with us to help us get through them. At Princeton Meadow our goal is to love God better and love people better. Faith and life intersect in ways that bring new life. We invite you to come and see for yourself what God is doing in our midst.

Calendar

Sunday morning worship is a central part of the week at PMC
At 9 am we encourage people to make Connections with one another. Small groups for adults and students meet at this time, a children’s program is available through 5th grade, and the Café is a warm place for people to catch up with others and build relationships.

At 10 am our Worship Service begins with several songs of worship, interspersed with prayers, scripture, offerings, and announcements, followed by the sermon. Children through the 5th grade are invited to stay during the beginning worship time, and then participate in age-based classes to learn more about God’s Word during the sermon. We invite you to sign in with us during the service so we can let you know about other opportunities and events at the church.

After the service we invite you to mingle in our café, or stop by the double doors at the back of the sanctuary to ask questions, meet some new people, and pick up printed material that will help familiarize you with upcoming programs and events.

We hope you enjoy your visit with us and return for more!

The Lay of the Land
The first thing you’ll notice when you approach PMC is construction. Meadow Road, Duck Pond Park fields, and the church itself are all in a process of growth, coming together to more effectively serve our community soon. Our new sanctuary held its first service on Easter 2011.

Parking is located at the back of the building, so our back door has become our main entrance by default. When we complete renovations to the original building, the entrance will remain in the back, but won’t look like a “back door.” The new sanctuary can be accessed from outdoor sidewalks on either side of the building, as well as through the inside.

The “lay of the land” is in a process of change. When you enter the door closest to the parking lot, you'll find some small group meeting rooms on either side of the hallway, just past the Church Office. The hallway opens into our Café, a warm and welcoming place that invites people to grab a cup of coffee and meet or catch up with others. Other classrooms and the nursery all lead off this central room. Our “old” sanctuary is beyond the Cafe, which is currently being used for students during the week and adults on Sunday mornings.

While renovations are being completed to the old part of the building, access to the new sanctuary is available from outside sidewalks on the sides of the building, or through the door on the left side of the old sanctuary. Please be patient as we complete our changes!

Steps of Involvement
Coffee for Newcomers. Every Sunday after the worship service PMC hosts are available by the double doors in the back of the sanctuary to answer questions you might have about PMC.

First Steps: PMC Discovery. Every 4-6 weeks we host a class on a Saturday morning to discuss PMC's core values and beliefs, and get to know you a little better. This a great place to start feeling more connected and think about your place at PMC.

Next Steps: PMC & You. Offered 2-3 times per year, this 4-week class held on Sundays after church gives you the opportunity to really get to know a few people better, while discussing how we approach ministry in the church, and how your gifts might benefit the church and community.

Other Opportunities. Numerous small groups and opportunities for service provide the best way to truly get involved in others' lives and feel a sense of belonging. Don't hesitate to contact us so we can help you find a good fit at Princeton Meadow Church.

Our Vision
The foundation of everything at Princeton Meadow Church (PMC) is the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as it is recorded in the Bible. The Gospel tells us that God’s Son, Jesus Christ gave his life as a sacrifice for sin. He was raised from the dead and offers new life to all who will receive it. Therefore, we are not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for salvation of everyone who believes (Romans 1:16). PPC’s vision is to walk by faith to make disciples of Jesus Christ in Princeton and the world. We want to be a church where people are transformed through the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and share that faith and power within our community and throughout the world.

Core Values
PMC is a growing community of Christian people who are committed to bring the resources of the Christian faith to our community.
We characterize all we do by three principles:

Reaching Up Through Worship
Reaching Out through Outreach
Reaching In through Discipleship

PMC is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). Our congregation includes believers and seekers from a variety of backgrounds, cultures and traditions. For more information about the PCA visit their website at www.pcanet.org.
