Our 2 ½ -year old programs
focus on social interactions through learning to play, work and communicate with other children. Children are given the opportunity to explore,question, practice, and pretend in their discovery of the world around them. While there is time for individual exploration, children in this program also work together to develop a variety of age-appropriate skills.

Our 3-year old programs focus on social interactions through learning to play, work and communicate with other children. Through shared story time, play time, and group activities, the children are encouraged to cooperate and interact with adults and other children. Whilethere is time for individual exploration, children in this program worktogether to develop a variety of age-appropriate skills.


M/W/F 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
M/W/TH/F 12:30 p.m.-3:00 p.m.

Our 4-year old programs focus on developing those skills needed for kindergarten. The children build upon the social skills gained in the three-year old program, and are encouraged to develop their fine motor, listening, and school-readiness skills. In addition, their letter and number recognition skills are enhanced through activities designed to promote early literacy skills inlanguage and math. Group times and circle times include opportunities for singing, art activities, movement, stories, and sharing.

Detailed description of our program goals are found below.

Special Topics Enrichment Programs (STEP) are for 3-6-year olds and will center around time for hands-on exploration and social development. Movement and self-expression will be encouraged! Each session, offered from October through May, will focus on a central theme. Children will participate in activities such as art, science, cooking, music, drama, literature and math. STEP sessions are typically offered both mornings and afternoons throughout the week; please call the school for current details.

The Princeton Presbyterian Preschool admits students of any race, color, religion, and national or ethnic origin.

Our preschool seeks to promote the social, spiritual, cognitive, emotional, and physical growth of each child.

Integrate biblical truths into the child’s learning experience

Assist the child in developing a positive self-concept

Promote language development and emergent literacy skills, including letter recognition phonemic awareness

Develop number awareness through sorting, counting, and manipulating objects

Develop an awareness and coordination of the child’s body through large and fine motor activities
