MOPS

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. Since 1973 MOPS has been offering support and resources to mothers around the world. Their programs and meetings are designed to nurture mothers with children from infancy through Kindergarten. The meetings give moms and opportunity to build relationships with other moms through sharing, caring and learning. At PPC we have a great appreciation for both contemporary and traditional worship music. Please contact us if you are interested in using your musical gifts.

SANCTUARY CHOIR
Kyu-Jung Rhee, Director
The Sanctuary Choir sings during the 11:00 am service each Sunday. They rehearse on Wednesday from 7:30 to 9 pm. The choir learns from Bach to Copland as well as spirituals and many excellent, more contemporary works. In addition to singing for worship services, the choir participates in the Christmas, Good Friday, and Easter services. For more information, please email Dr. Kyu-Jung Rhee at goyescas@gmail.com.

THE PRAISE TEAM
Bill & Anne Marie Gibson, Leaders

The Praise Team is the worship team that helps lead the 9:00 service. The team uses instrumentalists and vocalists to engage the congregation in a wide variety of contemporary praise hymns. Rehearsal is on Sunday morning 8:00-9:00 am. For more information, please email Bill Gibson at the_gibsons@comcast.net.

HANDBELL CHOIR

WOMEN IN THE CHURCH

The Women in the Church desire to nurture your relationship with God,
and encourage community and compassion toward others. Young or old, single or married, working or at home, we all have been given gifts by God, and we all need some encouragement in order to better use them and love one another.

Throughout the year WIC plans many activities, here are some ways for you to get involved. Periodic breakfasts provide opportunities to get to know one another, worship, and consider God’s work in our lives. WIC also plans an annual retreat which offers a chance to get away and focus on priorities, relationships, and make some fun & special memories. WIC also plans recreational activities, meals out, or the opportunity to enjoy the arts to provide a chance to make new friends. Activities with the girls in our church help us learn from one another inter-generationally. Other service projects help to support people in our church and community with particular needs. If you would like more information contact Janet Nygren at janetnygren@comcast.net.

MEN OF INFLUENCE

King Solomon said it best;
“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”
Proverbs 27:17

In today’s world it’s easy to stay “busy” with the demands of work, life and family, yet few men feel truly “connected” with other men in Christian fellowship and friendship. God’s word encourages deep and lasting friendships in the body of Christ, both for men and women. The goal of the PPC's men’s ministry is to encourage and help men grow and build vital relationships with God, family, and each other.

Our Men’s Ministry seeks to encourage men to use their gifts in service to Christ out of a heart of love for God in the home, the workplace, the church, and the community. As a result men will increase in the development of Godly characteristics like integrity, servant-leadership and influence.
